Job Summary:
Operation of a 24/7 low barrier, resource centre for individuals in need. Operation of a 40 bed year round shelter
Provide assistance in overseeing the day-to-day operation of specific assigned programs, lead the current staff team and provide direction to ensure that the goals and objectives of the organization are met. Provide assistance in planning, co-ordination and administration of the programs.
Qualifications:
A degree in social work, counselling or a related field, or the equivalent in education and experience is required for this position.
Education, Training and Experience:
At least three year's previous direct program delivery experience in the sector with a demonstrated working knowledge of specific community based programs, related provincial and community support services systems, applicable legislation and policies and issues surrounding assigned programs.

i) Excellent oral, written, facilitation and interpersonal communication skills
ii) Demonstrated teamwork, leadership and supervisory skills
iii) Good time and general management skills
iv) Ability to work effectively with program staff, volunteers, and non-profit or publicly funded groups, agencies and organizations
Additional Information:
This position requires the ability to function independently; frequently under pressure while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines including effectively managing emergency on-call situations.
Rate of Pay: $52,000 Annually
