Welcome to Day 1 of the 10 Day Wellness Challenge!
We celebrate your decision to embark on this powerful journey! By following the instructions and consciously embracing the shifts you will experience from participating in this short email course, you will experience profound changes in how you live and enjoy your life.
The first step in creating a great future is to ensure you have done your best to "clean up' your past. Here are some simple ways you can gain awareness of any past issues may still be lingering and holding you back.
Instructions
Check each box once you have completed the action or gained the attitude. Whatever you are unable to check off, make note of and keep working on it even after you have completed this program.
Day 1 - Let's Get Started!
| Make a list of any events in your past, or relationships, that may have caused you pain or difficulty. | |
| Meet with a coach or friend to discuss these past hurts. | |
| Ask at least two people in your life what they like about you and what they find difficult or challenging about your behavours. Avoid becoming defensive. Know that your past often colours my present. | |
| Notice each time you become emotionally "charged" or upset and note this in a journal or discuss it with a friend or coach. These "upsets" are clues to unfinished business from our past. | |
| Say with certainty that you like yourself and that you have learned from your past. | |

The 10 Day Wellness Challenge was created using components of Leadership and Lifestyle Management, a course I developed for the Professional Counsellor Diploma program at Rhodes Wellness College.
While it is only a small taste of the transformative tools our students apply in their own lives and those of their clients, I hope that the 10 Day Wellness Challenge will help you to create a positive change in your own life.
