We are honoured to bring you a list of our graduates who have chosen to list their services on our Alumni Directory. All of our graduates have received significant training to help them become professional coaches and counsellors. Directory listing does not guarantee their ability to help every individual and Rhodes Wellness College does not guarantee the work of every graduate. We always urge potential clients to find the best counsellors and coaches that work for their unique situations.
Hi, my name is Vicki. I understand the demands of working long hours in challenging environments and the “invisible weight” that is attached to the many roles we play in life. After many years of feeling overwhelmed, and on the verge of burnout while working as a pipefitter for Syncrude Canada Ltd, I decided to learn more about the mind-body connection to increase my energy level. It was only when I combined these practices to my internal compass could I make healthier shifts in my life. I believe through understanding more about our nervous system, and the physical, mental, and moral injuries we experience, we can then recalibrate our nervous system for optimal environmental adaptation. Creating meaningful change not only in the individual, but in the workplace as a whole, provides the opportunity for ingenuity to flourish, and a safer environment for everyone. It is my mission to work alongside frontline workers and other professionals to create work-life integration that is sustainable for the long run! I am interested in supporting individuals to navigate their mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Special interest in working with the nervous system and injuries such as trauma, PTSD, and moral injuries. Other interests are anxiety, depression, burnout, compassion fatigue, grief and loss. I incorporate Psychodrama and Experiential/Somatic techniques into counselling to help individuals overcome trauma and live a life of wholeness and connection. I offer individual counselling, and coaching sessions as well as group coaching. In addition, I offer wellness consulting to frontline workers and their departments. Services such as healthy workplace assessments, workshops such as Intro to Nervous System Recalibration© (in collaboration with AGTTC), and specialized programs based off of the unique challenges within a group. I am multi-passionate and also have a background in holistic wellness such as qigong, meditation, reiki, and yoga. Services are online via Zoom, special arrangements can be made for in-person group facilitation services. I am located in Calgary, AB. Vicki Curtis
