Rhodes Alumni Counsellor & Life Coach Directory

We are honoured to bring you a list of our graduates who have chosen to list their services on our Alumni Directory. All of our graduates have received significant training to help them become professional coaches and counsellors. Directory listing does not guarantee their ability to help every individual and Rhodes Wellness College does not guarantee the work of every graduate. We always urge potential clients to find the best counsellors and coaches that work for their unique situations.

ADHD Coach ACC Forever Better
Work 1440 Pelham Street, Fonthill, Ontario, L0S 1E0 Work Phone: (905) 931-8145

I am an ACC Certified ADHD and Parenting Coach based out of Ontario, Canada. I also have 20 years of experience working in Special Education, in both elementary and high school settings. I have extensive knowledge of ADHD and strategies that work to calm the chaos. I left my career with the school board due to injuries that would not allow me to perform my job to the best of my abilities. This broke my heart to have to leave my kiddos at school. But this struggle produced a bright silver lining. I went back to school and became an ADHD Coach. I wanted to combine both my special needs experience with my coaching. I have felt frustration from both parents and teachers over the years. I want to help parents work with their child’s teacher and educate the parents on the importance of being involved and that they have a say. I am determined to teach parents how to navigate the education system so their child has a successful and positive school experience. Consistency between school and home is detrimental to your child’s success. It excites me to be able to share my knowledge because your kids deserve it. ADHD has also hit home personally; my husband was officially diagnosed with ADHD just a few years ago. The diagnosis did not come as a surprise but was kind of a relief. He has been open for years to trying new strategies to help. The benefits of being married to a Special Needs Educator. The daily battles my husband and our family have had to suffer due to ADHD because it’s not only your struggle that has led me to want to teach anyone suffering that sometimes a simple change can make a world of difference. This is why it is so important for me to teach Adults that you don’t have to suffer any longer. A few quick changes are all that’s needed most times to calm the CHAOS!

Areas of Specialization: I am an ACC Certified ADHD Coach. I am a former Education Resource Special Needs Educator with close to 20 years of experience. I am trained in ADHD, CBT, Anxiety Disorder, OCD, ABA, and AADD. I work with parents of children with ADHD, as well as Adults with ADHD. ADHD Parent coaching is focused on you developing personalized strategies and tools to manage ADHD in your family.  ADHD coaching strategies are designed and tailored to each individual. I teach you how to strive not just survive. ADHD parenting coaching is individually based on one-on-one sessions, (it’s highly suggested both parents or guardians attend when possible) or group sessions that focus on strategies that are specific to ADHD. Either way, coaching targets to help you change the dynamic between you and your child, to a positive less chaotic one. You will learn how to develop personalized strategies and tools to manage ADHD in your family. My Adult ADHD one-on-one coaching strategies are designed and tailored to each individual, I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. You will learn with confidence how to strive, not just survive. Group sessions are based specifically on symptoms of ADHD. One-on-one sessions for parents, as well as Adults, can be in person or by zoom. Group sessions are by zoom only.
