Rhodes Alumni Counsellor & Life Coach Directory

We are honoured to bring you a list of our graduates who have chosen to list their services on our Alumni Directory. All of our graduates have received significant training to help them become professional coaches and counsellors. Directory listing does not guarantee their ability to help every individual and Rhodes Wellness College does not guarantee the work of every graduate. We always urge potential clients to find the best counsellors and coaches that work for their unique situations.

Biography

After years of unhealthy coping skills to deal with anxiety, depression and burnout, I reached out for Counselling, and completely changed my life.  I have always had an interest in Psychology, which I minored in while completing my business degree back in 2005.  Since then, I have worked with people in corporate settings, focusing on Human Resources.  This led me to start teaching yoga, as I was noticing that more and more people were feeling burnt out or experiencing chronic stress.  I now incorporate mindfulness and movement practices into my Counselling and Coaching services.  I am currently located in Vancouver, BC but have traveled the world and relocated overseas before.  When not seeing clients or hosting workshops, I can be found exploring the forest, browsing my favourite bookstore or local library, or attending community events.

Areas of Specialization: Are you feeling burnt out, anxious or stressed?  Perhaps you feel stuck or unable to make a change, in spite of wanting to move forward.  I specialize in supporting clients in many areas of life including: depression, burnout prevention and recovery, nervous system regulation, relationships, life transitions, grief and loss and addictions.   I blend together modalities to provide an integrative and holistic approach, using a person centered approach to ensure that you receive the support you are looking for.  Some of the modalities include Somatic Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I offer both coaching and counselling services, and can support you in assessing what you need at this time. I am located in Vancouver, but offer session virtually so that you do not need to leave the comfort of your home
