Rhodes Alumni Counsellor & Life Coach Directory

We are honoured to bring you a list of our graduates who have chosen to list their services on our Alumni Directory. All of our graduates have received significant training to help them become professional coaches and counsellors. Directory listing does not guarantee their ability to help every individual and Rhodes Wellness College does not guarantee the work of every graduate. We always urge potential clients to find the best counsellors and coaches that work for their unique situations.

Biography

Welcome to Resonant Energy Therapy. My name is Lucy Nesbitt (she/they) and I am a settler sharing my time between so called Toronto on Treaty 13 Land and so called Edmonton on Treaty 6 land. My mission is to bring warmth and light to facilitate an authentic and compassionate healing space to all those in need of me, predominantly women, nonbinary folks and those who identify as artists, in order to best support their empowerment and healthy wellbeing. In my practice, my priority is warm, judgment free, unconditional empathy. I ensure that our work together is co-collaborative, transparent and rooted in my clients’ ability to make empowered choice at all times.

As a counsellor, my process is inspired by creativity. I flow with my clients’ needs and meet them where they’re at by offering a wide variety of holistic, trauma informed modalities. My responsibility to my clients and practice is that I always show up anchored in my own authenticity and professionalism, as well as in my commitment to continued education, anti-oppression, diversity and awareness of the systems of oppression at play in the wellness community, and community as a whole.

Areas of Specialization: I offer wellness counselling, wellness consulting, life coaching and trauma informed music education. My approach is informed by Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Feminist Theory, Person Centered Therapy and always calls upon informed consent and a trauma informed lens.

I specialize in topics such as anxiety, grief and loss, spirituality, performance anxiety and performance lifestyle for artists, relationships, gender and sexuality, allyship, trauma processing, self care and coping strategies, harm reduction and safety planning, self harm and suicide ideation, and overall holistic wellness.

I offer services primarily online to clients across Canada and the world.

I am located predominantly in Edmonton as of March 2023.
