Step 1 — Arrival & Clinic Check-In
Upon arrival, clients will check in at reception and complete any required intake documentation before the treatment begins. Please arrive approximately 10–15 minutes early for your first appointment to allow time for forms and preparation. Your student therapist will greet you, review your appointment information, and guide you comfortably to the treatment room before the session begins.

Step 2 — Health Intake & Assessment
Before beginning treatment, your student therapist will complete a health history review and assessment process. This may include discussing your wellness goals, pain or tension concerns, mobility restrictions, posture, movement patterns, and any contraindications or precautions. Students will explain the proposed treatment plan, answer questions, and request informed consent prior to beginning the hands-on portion of the session.

Step 3 — Instructor Supervision
Throughout the appointment, clinic supervisors and instructors may periodically review assessments and treatment plans with student therapists. This supervision helps ensure safe treatment practices, proper technique application, professional client care, and educational feedback for student development. Because this is a teaching clinic, brief instructor consultations may occasionally take place during your appointment as part of the learning process.

Step 4 — Student-Led Massage Therapy Treatment
Treatments are performed according to the student therapist’s current level of training and may focus on relaxation, wellness support, and muscle tension reduction. Depending on the appointment type and student level, treatments may include relaxation massage, focused tension relief, mobility support, stretching techniques, and general therapeutic wellness care tailored to your treatment goals and comfort level.

Step 5 — Post-Treatment Review & Feedback
After your treatment, your student therapist may discuss general wellness recommendations, stretching suggestions, or home-care support based on your session. Clients will also be invited to complete a feedback form to support student learning and clinical growth. Your feedback plays an important role in helping students strengthen their professional skills, communication, confidence, and overall client care experience.
